The Felling Band are proud to present their debut album 'Songs of the Quay' which is a typical representation of our current concert programme. It was inevitable that our programme choice would lead us to our North East roots with choices such as the euphonium solo, The Blaydon Races and our title track, Songs of the Quay which features the popular North East melodies, The Keel Row and My Bonny Lad. After that, our programme was decided by our our dedicated listeners who by many words of encouragement and enthusiasm for our music, gave us the content for this recording.

Over the past few years, the band have been one of the most succesful bands on the North East concert and contesting scene winning back to back North of England Regional Championships in 2006 & 2007. This is an achievement the band are very proud of and as a tribute to players past and present, we present this recording as a landmark for the band's promotion to the Championship Section in 2008.
